From a Marketplace Purchase to a South Island Business.
A marketplace deal in 2020 brought Steve and Matt together. What started as a transaction turned into a conversation, a friendship, and by June 2021, the founding of NZ MechTech Ltd.
Over five years they built a track record across irrigation, water treatment, wastewater, and industrial fabrication throughout the South Island. Hands-on work. Real projects. Clients who call back.
In late 2025, Steve shifted focus to NZ Flow Group, a mutual decision made between mates. What started with a marketplace listing and a mountain bike ended five years later with a business they're both proud of. Matt carries NZ MechTech forward, and the friendship that built it is very much still going.
