The Project
NZ MechTech carried out the full mechanical fitout of Bio Reactor 4 at the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope covered pipework, aeration systems, handrails, and safety lines across a live water treatment facility.
The Challenge
The job demanded careful coordination across multiple trades working simultaneously. Complicated crane lifts and tight tolerances on the aeration grid installations left little margin for error, making sequencing critical throughout.
What We Did
We planned the work thoroughly upfront and kept close communication with the other subbies on site. Every stage was sequenced to reduce rework risk, and by getting the prep right from the start we kept the job moving cleanly through to completion.
The Result
The fitout was completed with no remedials required. Commissioning ran seamlessly, a direct result of the planning and coordination that went in from day one.
